The plants a garden gifts us with, the sense of place fulfilled, are the very best ones!

Glad you proved to be OK after your mishap - no doubt made of sturdy stuff! But look at the discoveries you made as a consequence!

That flower is so intricate and pretty. I am glad you discovered it in your garden and can nurture it. And talking of nurturing, take care for a while after your nasty fall. I am sure you don't want another long drive to casualty. 😉🤗

So many women, myself included, soldier on when they're hurt. I'm glad your sister pushed you to get the help you needed. Your wild Calliandra is marvelous.

So true - playing down the injury was so automatic that I had trouble being fully honest about my symptoms even when sitting in an ambulance. I'm lucky my sister was around as she could see through it... or mostly. ;-)

I've admired your C eriophylla on your blog, but hadn't gotten around to growing it. Nature is definitely taking care of that oversight in this garden!

Thought I commented from my phone, but evidently not. In spite of a brain bleed and concussion, you can't resist the pull of nature. Amazing. Please take care of yourself.

Thanks, John! I find that watching nature's life and beauty is one of the best ways to keep going through difficult times. :) Luckily the brain bleed scare turned out negative, so I don't have that to deal with. Mostly just a sore neck now...
