Thank you, Diana. So far no losses to the cold, thankfully. We are up on a hillside that falls off toward the San Pedro River valley, so I'm hoping the coldest weather will tend to drop away from us.

Thanks, Kris! I was pleased with the number of flowers, considering I only have a small patch actually planted so far. I need to take some longer views of my baby garden, but that will show the big patches of old Bermuda grass that I'm struggling with! ;-) Encelia is a wonderful plant. I'm trying to get my courage up to try transplanting a few seedlings that have popped up. I'm guessing their long taproots will make it pretty dicey!
