Thank you, Cathy! :) Am definitely better today, and ready to make sure the garden gets some water! ;-) Because of course I planted some new plants a bit later into the warm season than was strictly safe, and now they'll need extra attention, ha!
What a lovely little rose! And such a sweet pot for a small bouquet! I hope you feel better. I've been in my garden for most of the day. It's raining again, and it's been the soggiest year so far (Upstate New York, one of the cloudiest places on the planet.) I'm hoping for a nice string of dry days soon, and the weeds are certainly thriving!
Thanks so much, Laura! Seems like Nature always throws too much of something at us gardeners! ;-) I'll wish you some days of sunshine. We don't expect to see any more rain here till the end of June or later. Even the annual weeds are dying off here now--they get all the bloom-to-seed work done early!
I'm sorry were down and out for awhile, Amy, and I hope you're feeling more yourself again. Your rose is lovely. Any rose that can survive desert conditions is worth its weight in gold in my opinion. Take care!
Thanks so much, Kris--def feeling better today, which is important because I have a backlog of plants to pot up and plant out! ;-) Nastarana has so far been a very healthy and floriferous addition.
Hope you are beginning to feel better now Amy, and thanks for still making the effort to give us your contribution to IAVOM. I hope your new rose proves to be as fragrant as you would have hoped - it has certainly made a successful debut in your vase, along with your other sprigs. Thanks for sharing the cacti blooms too - something mmost of us will never have in our gardens!!
Thank you very much, Cathy--I'm at least recovered enough to try doing some planting out today, and that is the important thing! ;-) It's been exciting to have so many mature native plants on the property, and cacti are a thrill when they burst into bloom.
Wonderful. Hope your health clears soon. xx
Thanks so much, Lynda--and yours too! <3
Such a pretty rose, and the cacti flowers are simply gorgeous. Hope you are feeling better and can enjoy your garden today. 🌸
