As you say, the juxtaposition of narcissus and roses is so unusual - but so effective with all your summer yellows too. And all in one of your lovely vases too! Is your kiln finally set up now?

Oh, so prettty Amy! And I can understand how happy this vase must make you feel! It is such a wonderful combination that would simply not happen in our climate. The Nicotiana is a beautiful plant.

It's a very happy floral arrangement, Amy. The new-to-me Nicotiana obtusa is very interesting. I'm glad you picked up some rain.

I really don't know whether Nicotiana obtusa is grown much as a garden plant, but I am using it here as it grows wild on just the natural rainfall. The flowers aren't very showy, but the whole plant makes dense, cool green clumps in the summer. The more I see of it, the better I like it!
