In a Vase: Scented Beauty
The carnations are still blooming profusely, so I cut some more for today’s vase.
Frankly, I’m wondering how and why I managed without carnations all these years. These are proving a delight both outside and in.
I added a couple stems of rosemary…
…and a sprig of Lavandula dentata.
It’s a very simple bouquet, slipped into my dark-glazed stoneware pot.
This is a brief and late post for In a Vase on Monday, but I’m linking with Cathy at Rambling in the Garden as always.
It’s been a busy day after a very busy weekend. My horses finally arrived here last Thursday. Their pens are unfinished, but at least I can care for them myself and enjoy them at home now. It’s a big relief.
So that is why this post is so very late!
Wishing each of you a lovely week!
